Outdoor season update

Hi Luke here.

What a last 3 weeks, Cumbria, Whitby and Swindon. Not had time to be tired!

Had the final round of the British Masters in Whitby, what an awesome track, loved it, won all 4 races and pulled off some massive whips, had already won the Championship at Hawkstone a few weeks before so just enjoyed the weekend and extended my lead so now have the title of British Masters 2009 Champion.

The British Youth Championship has been tough this year and is so competitive, came away from Brampton a bit dissapointed, didn't make the top 6 due to clutch issues and a puncture, well didn't get injured so that was good. Onto Foxhills for the last round, conditions were perfect.

Qualifying was pants! 6th and a little of the pace but i made up for it in the races, had 3rd, 4th, 2nd, 2nd then got another puncture in the last race which dropped me to 4th overall from a possible 2nd overall, bummer! 8th overall in the championship, not bad considering i started the year with a broken collarbone and injured my ankle a month ago.

Well that's my big wheel season done, hopefully onto 250 fourstrokes as soon as Mum and Dad can get a bike sorted. Can't thank all of my sponsors enough this year, has been a good season so far, thanks especially to Spiked for believing in me and it can only get better from here, roll on 2010. Will keep everyone posted on how the 250 fourstroke goes, rode one a few weeks ago and it's awesome.
